Hummel Landscape Inc & Hummel Landscape Supply was established in 1998 by Chris and Sean Hummel, Hummel Landscaping Inc. is our family owned landscape company that specializes in designing, installing and maintaining beautiful residential and commercial landscapes. We also specialize in supplying and delivering quality bulk landscape supply materials to contractors and do it yourself customers in the Cobb, Marietta, Roswell, Cherokee and Woodstock. Now, with over 30 years of combined experience in the landscape industry, Hummel Landscaping Inc. is ready to help you handle all of your landscape needs.
Our History
The youngest of four Hummel brothers, Chris and Sean started mowing yards as young kids even resorting to pulling lawnmowers behind their bikes to get from yard to yard. Through middle school and high school the Hummel’s could always be found cutting yards in the neighborhood to earn extra money. Chris and Sean are both graduates of Virginia Tech (91’ and 96’) and after a few years in the corporate world decided to start a business together. With a maroon Ford F-150 and a small landscape trailer, Hummel Landscaping Inc. was established in 1998. Originally started to specialize is complete lawn and landscape maintenance. During the early 2000’s additional crews and landscape services were added to meet the growing demand in the East Cobb area. In 2004 the company purchased property in Marietta, GA which is now the home of Hummel Landscape Supply. The landscape supply location provides bulk landscapes materials that include pine straw, colored hardwood mulches, kids play safe mulch, cypress mulch, red oak mulch, topsoil, organic soils, fill dirt, gravel, crusher run, granite sand, river sand, fill dirt, pea gravel, egg rock and Tennessee river rock.

"My wife and I purchase our home in 2015 at which time we obtained a quote from Hummel Landscaping Supply to have the junipers in our front lawn removed and replaced with sod and bushes but never acted on the project. Fast forward to last month and the junipers had become an eye sore and needed to be removed ASAP. I found the quote from 2015 and took it to Hummel to have them reevaluate the job. I also received three other quotes for the job. After I received and reviewed all the quotes I talked to Sean of Hummel because they were the lowest quote and by a lot. I was very surprised because I expected just the opposite because I am aware of the quality work they perform. Even after adding 13 assorted bushes to the job the final quote was well under the others. Again, I was not looking for the cheapest but when you can hire a quality company to preform quality work at an affordable price that’s a win win in my book! Just to give an idea of how awesome the quote was and remember we add serval items the different from the 2015 quote and the final one was $625. Considering that normally items and the cost of labor increase over time I was shocked. Sean was a pleasure to work with also, the workers did an awesome job and left the areas they worked in clean. I’m retired from the Navy, but I didn’t think to inquire about a Military discount. When I called Sean to make the payment, he told me he noticed I was a Veteran and thanked me for my service. He preceded to tell me he was applying a military discount to my balance. I was so surprised and grateful that he noticed presumably from the military tags on my vehicles and was applying the discount without me inquiring. I told him we would definitely be using them for our future projects, and we thank them so much for the professional job and the care and concern they showed us.
